Daniel Scales is Chief Brand Counsel for The Linux Foundation. He has worked with The Linux Foundation and its projects on trademark matters for over 10 years, previously at the Boston law firm Choate, Hall & Stewart. Daniel also worked as IP Counsel at Avid Technology, where, in addition to trademark work, he advised the company on technology licensing, open source software and technical standards.
